XM Studios is excited to present Kal-El (Dark Knights of Steel), our next DC Premium Collectibles statue from the Dark Knights of Steel comic run! Each highly detailed statue is painstakingly handcrafted and expertly hand-painted with XM’s famous quality finish.

The Dark Knights of Steel comic run presents a captivating, high fantasy retelling of the DC Universe with the momentous arrival of the Els by spaceship from their doomed planet, Krypton. In this storyline, the Els would come to befriend King Thomas and Queen Martha, kicking off a cascading sequence of events brimming with knights, magic, and intrigue amidst a warring feud between kingdoms!

Background:
XM will be giving a unique twist to this series by providing collectors with the option to collect the original comic look and an altered high fantasy look developed by the XM creative team. Building on top of the existing design in the comics, this look features Kal-El in heavy medieval armour, complete with XM’s unique take on styling in tandem with the actual comic storyline. The XM Studios altered take on Kal-El’s armour also features a full-faced helmet, a right arm switch-out where he is seen holding on to a banner featuring the House of El family crest and sun-inspired motifs running along the leg, arm and chest plates.

The Kal-El Comic Version Features:

Highly detailed sculpt featuring Kal-El clad in medieval clothing.
One (1) head sculpt: 1 unmasked portrait.
One (1) right arm switch outs: 1 with a balled fist.

The Kal-El Altered Version Features:

The above table is to help customers plan their purchase for the PreOrder. The shipping fees
will be invoice at release close to the shipping date.
All shipping costs include shipping, packaging and handling charges from Gheroes. We only
ship via insured shipping to ensure that the parcel can be tracked with a tracking number.
All orders placed in the shop will be shipped directly from GHeroes in Germany.

FAQ - EU Tax Reform

On July 1st, 2021, the EU sales tax reform 2021 came into force for online shops that sell across the EU. This means that we have to display and calculate the VAT of the respective country of delivery for our articles. We are also obliged to pay these in the respective country.

For items open for Pre-Order with a Deposit or Full Payment under the Purchase Option, the conversion to EU countries should be emphasized. The amounts in the item details refer to the German VAT at 19% and are adjusted for EU countries with different VAT in the shopping cart. The EU sales tax reform 2021 will not change anything for Switzerland and England, both will remain excluded from VAT.

FAQ - Deposit

What means the Deposit of an item?
The deposit refers only to items in the Pre-Order status. Items which are in stock do not require a deposit. For the Pre-Order, you can choose between the points Deposit and Full Payment under the Purchase Option. The former requires only the amount of the Deposit listed and the balance later, while the Full Payment allows them 5% Discount on the price of the item. After the order you will receive an additional e-mail with all invoicing information for the payment. In both cases the remaining amount including shipping costs is to be paid shortly before the dispatch of the article and is also requested by us with an e-mail.
